A felted mirror

Last week I had an idea for felting a frame around a mirror, so today tried it out. The edge is quite neat but I think I'll end up stitching some beads around it and tightening it up a tiny bit. Always good to investigate these ideas, even if nothing ends up being as simple as you first hoped!

Finally managed to update the website!

I've spent a very long weekend getting new products into the website shop - lavender bags and flower brooches and hairslides, really pretty. Lots of arguing with the computer though, but all done now and I've even written down notes about how to beat the software problems. Now that's done I can't wait to start felting again!

Wandsworth Artists' Open House

I've been very busy recently getting ready for this Open House event in Wandsworth, running the first two weekends in October. I'm sending down some bags I had made previously plus some new pieces I made specially.

I'm really pleased with the cheerful teacosies - there's something very appealing about polka dots, something I never thought I'd be able to do in felt!
